Ferrules

Ceratec supplies various ceramic ferrules (protection tube heat exchanger). We supply different materials and dimensions.

Materials

Zirconium Silicate is suitable for high thermo shocks. Temperature should be below 1500 degrees C . Has a higher density then alumina and has a lower porosity.

90% Alumina, Temperature 1700 degrees C and a porosity of 20%.

94% Alumina, see 90% variant, higher purity, applied when oxygen is mixed, used when applications are not 100% known..

99% Alumina, Best quality. High strength, not suitable for large temperature fluctuations. Is stable up to 1925 degrees C.

AMZ Composites, good resistance against temperature fluctuations, temperature up to 1800 degrees C. Often applied for "Fluid Catalytic Cracking”.
