Valves

Conventional ball valves are common practice. There are applications were these valves are not successful:

-extreme wear due to abrasive media

-high temperatures

-corrosion

Short life time or bad performance is a logical consequence.

Ceramic valves are a solution for following applications:

Applications

Fertilisers

nitrate slurry, flow of ammonium nitrate 180°C

Pigments

extraction (H2SO4, 70°C), transport of a TiO2 slurry

Energy/waste

desulfuration of fly as in power plants, transport of lime stone

Catalyst

"Kellogg-Cracker", abrasive catalyst, temperature 50-800°C (thermo shock)

Steel industry

injection of carbon powder in a furnace, injection of alloys in a melt, "scale" treatment, pneumatic transport, desulfuration

Plastic

molten plastics, components in plastic, polycarbonate factories

Pneumatic-transport

lime stone, glass, quartz, cement, fly as etc.

Pulp/water

Dosing of CaCO2, MgO2, MgSO2, Kaolin,

Quartz sand

"Bentonite" , Na2SO4

For some valves our partner is (since 1990) Cera System GmBH.
